Bilingual Technical Instructor (Arabic-English)

Job Requirements:


• University graduate with a petroleum engineering or related engineering degree
• 5 years minimum oil industry rig or field experience
• Very good English-language skills: reading, writing, and speech
• Good communication and team skills
• Successful teaching experience is an advantage


We are adding instructors to a training program in Kuwait, where trainees with no oilfield experience are taught over six months basic skills for entry level positions in the drilling and well servicing industry.

Due to expanding activity in the Middle East Gulf Region, we are recruiting specialists to join our team as Senior and Junior Mentors.

Job Requirements:


• University graduate with a petroleum engineering or related engineering degree
Senior Mentor: 10 years minimum oil industry rig or field experience to Rig Supervisor or Toolpusher level. Junior Mentor: 5 years, field experience to driller level
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Very good English-language ability: reading, writing, and speech
• Successful teaching experience is an advantage


The primary role of the Senior Mentor is help trainees effectively apply classroom learning to field assignments and on-the-job training. Responsibilities include teaching theoretical drilling courses, collecting case histories and using them for training purposes, coordinating field visits, and collecting and evaluating trainee field reports. The Senior Mentor role is a combination of instructor, counselor, and evaluator. Similar responsibilities apply to the Junior Mentor, but under the supervision of a Senior Mentor
