AIM OF THE SERIES :

On 1st January 1993 health and safety regulations came into force, with module five also being applicable onshore. Since these regulations place broad general duties on employers and employees, Aberdeen Drilling Schools has produced a set of presentation modules to facilitate greater awareness and understanding.

Each module includes a presenter‘s guide, delivery notes and a full set of overheads designed for fail-safe delivery, with strong visual impact and maximum practical participation by trainees. An assessment at the end of each kit ensures comprehension of the subject. All material is laminated in clear plastic for maximum durability.

On completion of these modules, participants should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the regulations pertaining to each module, the authority under which they were enacted and to whom they apply. They should also be able to demonstrate ability in the interpretation of the approved codes of practice and guidance on the regulations, and their practical workplace application.
