Theoretical
and practical course for surface and/or subsea installations at
Driller level. Designed to enhance understanding of the fundamentals
of well control that can be applied to most well control operations,
and to prepare candidates for IWCF testing.

BOP operations at Driller level
• IWCF well control standards
NB Unique feature: Demonstration of gas solubility in OBM vs WBM
systems supported by " SideKick" advanced kick simulator
software programme.

DEFINITION - SURFACE AND COMBINED
Prior
to attending, delegates shall indicate which type of BOP certificate
course (i.e. “Surface” or “Combined”)
is required:
• Surface BOP certificate course is for surface mounted
BOP’s only
• Combined BOP certificate course covers both surface and
subsea mounted BOP’s
