A
one-day workshop for the implementation team of slimhole drilling
operations with the aim of familiarising the team members with
the differences between conventional and slimhole drilling and
well control. A combination of lecture, group discussion and practical
scenarios is used to highlight issues important to the successful
drilling of a slimhole well, and establish well control procedures.
The participants are also familiarised with equipment (e.g. coiled
tubing if relevant) on the installation.
