OVERVIEW
Theoretical
and practical course for surface and/or subsea installations at
Fundamental level. Designed to enhance understanding of the fundamentals
of well control that can be applied to Drilling – Workover
/ Completion – Well Servicing (Coiled Tubing, Wireline,
Snubbing) operations, and to prepare candidates for IADC WellCAP
testing.

DEFINITION – SURFACE AND COMBINED
Prior
to attending, delegates shall indicate which type of BOP certificate
course (i.e. “Surface” or “Combined”)
is required:
• Surface BOP certificate course is for surface mounted
BOP’s only
• Combined BOP certificate course covers both surface and
subsea mounted BOP’s
